The power of collective thinking

I don’t know how many of you have heard, but Nate’s dad is in the hospital awaiting by-pass surgery on his Aorta (yes, the only artery I can name. The big one.) They’d thought angioplasty and then orthoscopic by-pass, but because of the amount of blockage and such, they’re going to have to open him up and, I believe, run 2 by-passes. So, whether you want to pray to your respective god or just think positive thoughts, please keep him in mind. The surgery is scheduled for either Monday or Tuesday and then he will be in the hospital for 4-5 days after in intensive care. Obviously, everyone is a bit stressed, but other than this one blockage, he’s in near-perfect health and should recover quickly.
So please send good thoughts to Larry and the rest of the Presnall gang. We’re just glad he got to the hospital before he had an actual heart attack as the doctor (with such wonderful tact) informed us that this blockage is called “The Widow Maker” and usually people just keel over while doing yard work! Thanks, Doc, now fix it!
