Andrea took us to the Lincoln Park Zoo. It was a neat zoo. Way better than the Knoxville zoo (sorry Knoxville zoo). Then we just happened upon this great little lily pond in the middle of the city. You walk through these big doors and whammo, everything is peaceful. You walk back out and it’s hustle and bustle. Andrea had no idea it was even there. And that, my friends, is why we never pre-plan our trips. Sure, we may miss the big touristy things, but if we were so busy rushing around, we would never have time to find little bits of nifty hiding in plain sight.
