So we just stopped by the Del Monaco Winery just outside of Cookeville today. We being Nathan, Larry (Nate’s dad), Sara (Nate’s sister) and me. After tasting all of the wines, each of us bought about 3 bottles a piece. Nathan & I bought two bottles of Blackberry (which is sweet with a tart aftertaste) and the Whistle Stop (which is drier). I think Sara bought the Blackberry and the Gewürztraminer. No clue what Larry bought.
After picking our wines, we noticed a really cool area beyond the gift shop that looked like an event facility. One of the staff took us on a tour and talked about the brides room (which is super nice) and the different outdoor plans for the spring. It’s a great facility. I wish they had been around for Robin’s wedding. I think she would have loved to have her wedding there. I guess there’s always the vow renewal. 🙂
