I am giddy. Tomorrow morning we pack it up and head north (like crazy people in this weather). Back in the fall, my friend Sarah and I decided we wanted to see this historic inauguration in person. We tried to get tickets and failed, but we are going anyway. We’ll be staying with friends in the area and braving the insanity. My friend Melissa’s house is home base. She kindly offered to drive us to the metro station Tuesday morning. Mel is staying home, though, as she is ready to pop out a baby. We have promised to take many photos and tell her all about it. I can’t wait!! More on the road trip tomorrow.
