I shot Michelle’s bridal portrait at Dara’s Garden back at the end of April. Of course, her wedding wasn’t until June 20th, so I’ve had to sit on these for a while now. Michelle also entered our engagement story contest with a great story about her clever husband. I LOVED photographing her. She is fun & beautful and willing to go along with weird ideas to get great shots.

Michelle brought her friend and some champagne to keep her more relaxed. What a fabulous plan! It worked perfectly.

She also helped Michelle get ready.

We started in the red gazebo. I love the red gazebo!

Then we hiked over to the barn. My white sheet got lots of use that day and no one got into any poison ivy (always my big fear).

On the way back towards the house, we stopped on the bridge over the little creek.

And on the far side of the parking area by all of those cool rocks!

They recently built a new, outdoor ceremony area. It is fantastically beautiful! We’re shooting a wedding there next weekend, and I can’t wait to see it all decked out!

There’s a little field at the bottom of the staircase.

Michelle walked and spun all over that field.

Then she took a break. See what I mean about agreeable!

We finished up in the forest with Mustapha Moussa & Barry Seaton playing paparazzi (Dara was having a networking event up the hill that day)

Bug’s eye view.
