Stephanie & Chris

Stephanie & Chris are celebrating their fourth anniversary today!

Their ceremony was at the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Marietta.  The church had just built a new sanctuary and had not created the mosaics yet, but the building itself was absolutely beautiful.

The priests (there were three) were all incredibly nice and had suggestions for the best angles of the ceremony.  A Greek Orthodox ceremony has several elements that are not found in other Christian ceremonies, so I definitely found attending the rehearsal helpful.  A quick bit of trivia, did you know that in the Greek Orthodox church, often the wedding ring is worn on the right hand rather than the left?  This is because Christ is the right hand of God.

Stephanie’s dress was Ulla-Maija from Impressions Salon.

They were just so good at the dip-kiss!

The tuxes were from Savvi.

After their ceremony, guests were invited to the reception at the Georgian Terrace (who also catered).

Spectrum Entertainment provided the DJ.  There was much dancing, and quite a bit was of the traditional Greek variety.  This shot, however, is their first dance.
