In May we went to St. Simon’s Island, Georgia to photograph Sarah Beth & Richard. It was a HUGE wedding with 15 bridesmaids & 15 groomsmen. They only had 6 of each stand with them (it was a TINY church) and the rest were seated. Why did they have so many? Well, they had 6 siblings to include and then once you start adding friends, it can spiral very quickly. The groomsmen were hilarious with “Team 1” & “Team 2” (team 1 being the family). Their wedding was at Christ Church and the reception was at the King & Prince.

The church is beautiful!

Lots of dark wood and stained glass.

I love how huge the trees are!

That’s what a gang 15 groomsmen fast approaching looks like.

Family men.

A bit of mom lovin’.

Sarah Beth’s oldest nieces and nephews getting a few last minute instructions from their Gi-mama.

A couple of grandmothers waiting to be seated.

We weren’t allowed to photograph the ceremony. Bummer!

They have so many adorable nieces and nephews. Of course, the first question at the reception was “When are you having kids?”

Party of 15!

The father-daughter dance was adorable!

Big brother had to cut in.

Then brother-in-law who has been around since Sarah Beth was 3!

And nephew, Bobby, got in on the action too!

Of course, Richard couldn’t get left out of the party. Here’s mom.

And Step-mom.

And Grandmom.

An aunt.

Another aunt!

Mother-in-law

Baby sister.

And a couple of nieces.

Bobby put his dancing skills to good use!

I love this sequence with the “grooms cake.”

But everything is forgiven!

Breakin’ it down with some cousin Double Dutch!

Bobby’s back at it!

The bouquet catcher is in the very back behind everyone else. Sarah Beth said she was aiming for her.
