Nathan’s cousin, Carolyn, is a famous authoress. And rightfully so, because she rocks out on all of the authory things she does. Nathan had never met Carolyn, but it just so happened that she was helping her friend Joi move to Kansas.
Why would Joi, a city girl, move out to Kansas from NYC? For love, of course! So she and Carolyn were on a fabulous road trip and happened to stop in Gatlinburg, just down the road from Knoxville.
Nate’s mom (not pictured) managed to get us all hooked up with phone numbers and such, so we took these lovely ladies to Big Fatty’s which was right down the street from Carpe Librum (a wonderful local bookstore) where Carolyn had planned to stop and sign a few copies of her book.
It was a delightful visit & we shall have to do it again sometime.
