We’re meeting all kinds of AMAZING musicians here. Sivaramakrishna Rao and his brothers are some of them. They play together as PRANAVAM and live together in a beautiful and very musical house.
Sivaramakrishna and his lovely wife Aruna welcomed us into their home and hooked us up with connections to even more great local musicians. Our week in Chennai was full of amazing music and Aruna’s fabulous cooking and chai tea (best food and tea in all of Chennai).
As a way of thanking them, we did a portrait sitting with Sivaramakrishna and his sitar and the two of them together. It was super fun. Aruna was so beautiful in her sari and Sivaramakrishna played more sitar music for us while we photographed him. I think we were all grinning ear to ear for the entire shoot. Here are just a few of the hundreds of shots we did.
