I met Terry through eWomen Network (I meet lots of people that way. <3 eWomen). She’s the owner of Starfish Performance and is super easy to work with. We set up a backdrop in her livingroom and had a wonderful conversation and an easy shoot.
This is Terry’s professional headshot. I love this top since it really makes her blue eyes and blond hair pop. The texture in the fabric is a nice way to add pattern without getting too busy.
We also did a more casual shot for things like facebook. While this top might get a bit busy in a wider shot, for a close up portrait, it adds interest without dragging your eyes to it. The muted colors help and that blue, again brings out the blue of her eyes.
