Kendra & Al

Kendra & Al got married in Monterey five years ago today!  HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

It’s Monterey, and apparently this picture is a requirement.

Two generations of advice.

Everyone in this picture is celebrating their anniversary today.  Happy Anniversary David and April too!

Kendra is a total ham.  Reba’s Flowers did the arrangements.

Al’s frat brothers sang to him.

Alyson & Don

Alyson & Don got married at the Ribault Club on Fort George Island in Jacksonville, Florida.  What a beautiful location!  The florist was Larry Miller of Island Flower & Garden.  Alyson flew to New York to buy her Vera Wang dress which was incredibly gorgeous!  The guys got their tuxes at After Hours. Catering by Liz kept us fed and Carey Coach drove folks around.  The Ealum Trio played during the ceremony and Barnthouse & Dalton Band kept people on the dance floor.  It was a fun weekend in Amelia Island for everyone.  Happy anniversary, guys!  Four years really flew by!

Just a quick warning, a lot of the links here lead to pages with music, so surfing at work can be dangerous.  Turn off those speakers before you click.  🙂

Matt & Michelle’s Maternity Portraits

Finally! Some pictures I can share THIS month (all these bridal portraits are killing me with the wanting to share NOW & the knowing I’d be in BIG trouble if I did). Of course, I couldn’t share them immediately because they may be giving out Mother’s Day gifts, so just to be on the safe side, we had to wait. GRRR! But not to worry! Here they are! We had such a great time at Victor Ashe Park. The day was beautiful & the buttercups were everywhere. Matt & Michelle are going to be fun parents, I’m sure! What a lucky baby. 🙂

Headshots for $50

I will be at Migun TN in Farragut tomorrow (Friday, May 8th) from noon until we finish & Saturday (May 9th) from 10-4 doing headshots. Adita will be on hand again to do hair & make up for those who want it.

I’m not certain what Adita’s fee might be, but I’m only charging $50 per person (plus tax since TN needs its cut). I will accept checks, cash & credit cards of all types.

Your $50 includes 1 person, 1 outfit, 1 print-resolution file and the same file in web-size.

If you want to have multiple outfits, it’s $10 each additional.

Each additional file is $15 for both print & web resolution.

Want to do a group shot? It’s $50 plus $15 per additional person. Each person can choose a different file.

I will email the images, but if you need them on a disk, it’s $15 to cover the disk & delivery charges. You can put as many images on a disk as you want at no extra charge. Just look above for the per-image cost.

Here are a few examples from the last time we did this.

Not sure where Migun is? Well, it’s right next to the Fresh Market in Farragut on Kingston Pike (the shopping center is just past Campbell Station). Still not sure? Here’s the address:

11533 Kingston Pike
Knoxville, TN 37934
Village Green Shopping Center

Even if you don’t think you need a new headshot, come to the store & check it out. It’s free to lay on the beds and they have every flavor of Yogi Tea (my favorite is Ginger at the moment). As Teresa says, “Everything is just Yummy!”

Tracy & John

Happy third anniversary, Tracy & John!  This is an awesome couple, folks.  They met on Match.com, which I just think is great!  I’ve photographed several weddings for couples who met on line, and they all seem so happy and comfortable with one another.  Tracy & John were just ecstatic, and their love washed over everyone.  They got married at the Chimneys Lodge in Big Canoe and Cathie Waddell catered.

This shot just says it all.

The maid of honor got all of the guests to send in stories about the couple.  Then she put them into an album  What a fabulous idea!!

Lauren & Tom

My uncle Tom married Lauren at the Church of the Advent down the street from their house in Madison.  Then we all headed to their house for a family filled reception (there are a lot of us).  Lawrence Mayer was the florist and Barbara Gibson kept us fed.  HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, Tom & Lauren!

Happy Birthday, Rachel

Rachel Duke is one of the two beautiful & brilliant owners of The Brides Lounge & DW Decor. Last week was her 25th birthday & she decided she needed some pictures to commemorate the big day. Boy am I glad she did! We had the BEST time! My new photo-buddy Beth came along for the ride & we just wandered all over Old City shooting whatever caught our fancy. Not only is Rachel beautiful, but she’s fun & really relaxed in front of the camera (thanks Brenda for training her so well!)

Here are a few of my favorites. We haven’t had a chance to do all the fun photoshop work we love, but I just can’t hold them to myself any longer!

rachelbd_374When Nate doesn’t come along, I get to play with his favorite lens. I also have to fill our crooked shot quota. 😉

rachelbd_336Trying out my new fisheye.

There’s a new place opening next to Hannah’s & this is their wall. They were so nice to let us come in & shoot. I can’t wait to give them a try.rachelbd_221rachelbd_212rachelbd_207

rachelbd_139rachelbd_136The wall outside Old City Java is awesome!

rachelbd_130Super hot shoes!!

rachelbd_102Rachel considered buying this AWESOME hat, but decided it didn’t go with her outfit.

Beth got in on the action too! She’s just super! I hope to be sharing lots more of her photography as well.

Maribel & Moe

Maribel & Moe got married at the Trolley Barn four years ago today.  HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!  They had a very fun wedding.  Moe’s family flew in from New Zealand.  All of Maribel’s friends were ogling Moe’s brother and his sexy accent.  I had to explain to Moe’s sister that we American women are real suckers for a man with an accent.  Foxgloves & Ivy provided beautiful flowers, the colors were vivid pinks and oranges.
